What if healing isn't about fixing?

A reframe on what it means to be well - and who you already are beneath the story of being broken.

We talk about healing as though it's something we have to earn. As though there's a version of us that is broken, incomplete, in need of repair - and somewhere out there, the right treatment, the right practitioner, the right protocol will finally make us whole.

I've sat with thousands of people over the years, needle in hand, listening to the body's most honest language. And what I've come to understand, again and again, is this: the people who walk through my door are not broken. They are not problems to be solved. They are souls who have simply drifted - through stress, through grief, through the relentless pace of modern life - from the remembrance of who they truly are.

Healing isn't a process of becoming something new. It's a return to what has always been there!
Healing isn't a process of becoming something new. It's a return to what has always been there!

In Chinese Medicine, we speak of the Shen - the spirit that lives in the Heart. When the Shen is settled, there is a quality of presence, of luminosity, of ease that radiates through the whole being. When it's disturbed - by trauma, by disconnection, by simply living in a world that asks us to move too fast - we lose touch with that inner knowing. We start to feel like something is wrong with us.

And so we seek to fix it. We optimise. We eliminate. We try harder.

But what if the invitation isn't to fix - what if it's to remember?

To remember the part of you that was whole before the diagnosis. Before the heartbreak. Before you learned to shrink yourself to fit into spaces that were never quite the right shape for you. To remember that your body is not your enemy - it is, in fact, one of the most sophisticated intelligence systems you will ever have access to.

To remember who you were, before the world told you who to be.

Your higher self is working with your body, is always communicating. Always guiding. Always working towards equilibrium, even when it doesn't feel that way.

"What if the symptoms aren't a sign that something has gone wrong - but a signal that something wants to come alive?"

This is the lens I bring to every session. Not: what is wrong with you? But: what is your body trying to say?

What has been suppressed, bypassed, or left unloved that is now asking for your attention? What version of yourself have you forgotten - or perhaps never had permission to fully inhabit?

When we shift from fixing to remembering, something profound happens. The body relaxes its grip. The nervous system exhales. The symptoms that once felt like enemies begin to reveal themselves as messengers - and we start to work with ourselves rather than against.

This is not about bypassing the very real physical experiences we move through. Pain is real. Illness is real. The body's suffering deserves to be met with deep care and precision. But beneath all of it - beneath every diagnosis, every label, every story we've accumulated about why we are the way we are - there is an original, undisturbed frequency.

A blueprint of your greatest potential. And it has never left you.

You are not here to be fixed. You are here to remember what you have always been.

Alchemising what the world told you to be, into the frequency of you - that is the medicine I am here to offer.

If you are ready to alchemise what you no longer want to carry, let's play!

All my love,

Sorena x
